“To be a person with disability does not mean the same as to be mentally challenged or physically limited. Statute of a person with a disability can obtained e.g. a woman after breast cancer, person with severe dust allergy, diabetic or a person taking care of someone who is not able to care for himself. Prejudices which we have when we hear the word “a disability” often prevent even considering employment them. A person with a disability cannot manage a full-value job...! That is a mistake,“ confirms Hana Potměšilová, a director of a foundation Nadační fond OZP.

Charitky in the spirit of its philosophy of strengthening society’s moral values decided in autumn 2013 to give people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in its production. “We want to show society that even a business could have a social dimension. Charitky gives by a financially sustainable manner to people with disabilities not only an opportunity to work but also to be an additional benefit for children,” says Miriam Janyšková, the founder of Charitky.
