The mission
The activities and projects of the Society of friends of children from children`s homes Úsmev ako dar are first and foremost directed at returning children to their biological families or creating living conditions that most closely resemble a family environment.
The characteristics
The strategic aim of the Society is to provide children and young people in foster care and children in need the chance to a dignified and full life, to create for them a safe and permanent environment, to prepare them to live independently, to prepare foster families, provide social counselling and accompaniment. The Society carries out its activities in our 8 regional branches in Bratislava, Trnava, Nitra, Banska Bystrica, Dolny Kubín, Prievidza, Prešov and Košice.
