Presentation of Charitky project in media.
PR articles, interviews, print in newspapers, magazines and all other media.
A magazine DIALOG writes about Charitky
On the first pages of this year’s first issue of a magazine DIALOG - the magazine for employees and friends of ROSSMANN, are presented moments that were for the company ROSSMANN interesting in the year 2014. One of these moments is also acquiring Charitky in 3 different design variants.
12% of the total price of the Charitky that were purchased by the company ROSSMANN for its promotion was through the Our Child Foundation (Nadace Naše dítě) given for support and development of children. The amount of CZK 10,130 helped 2 specific children – Viktoria and Dan.
Brands & Stories again writes about Charitky
The information about a handover of symbolic cheque to Klokánek (FOD) at a conference of Mary Kay’s independent consultants was published in this year‘s first edition of the magazine Brand&Stories.
Charitky provide thanks to the company Mary Kay that for an introduction of its penguin Miki’s novelties purchased Charitky, were able to pass the symbolic cheque for an amount of CZK 10,725 to four children from Klokánek Hostivice.
Thanks to Charitky siblings Honzík and Evička and their friends Maksym and Kevin will be able to devote themselves to their likings for football, sport games, boxing, English and arts.
Companies’ charitable programs before Christmas
An article published on a website of a newspaper Hospodářské noviny on December 24, 2014 shows how leading companies supported disabled and socially disadvantaged children during this year’s Christmas. Activities of mentioned companies prove that the purchase of Christmas necessities that every company makes in the autumn for their employees and partners can as well have an added value and a deeper meaning. Such a meaningful object is also Charitky, which is described in the article as an example of an original New Year Card.
For example, the drug store chain ROSSMANN, companies Kofola, ING Pojišťovna or Mary Kay used this year for their promotion a non-traditional Christmas charitable project called Charitky.
Employees and clients of KPMG by creating virtual gingerbreads helped children with hearing impairment. More than twenty children with hearing impairment received half a million Czech crown.
The article shows that New Year’s Cards, Christmas parties, gifts purchasing and other activities that companies have to do at the end of the year can be well-thought-out. Thus, spent time, money and effort bring back more happiness.
Does intelligence harm? The price of high IQ
On September 29, 2014 an article on a website Žena.cz was published on the topic ‘Does children’s above average intelligence harm them?’ The author focuses in her article on different kinds of intelligence and also on whether this higher intelligence is beneficial or harmful to children. On this topic also the founder of Charitky Mrs. Miriam Janyšková answered.
Talent can be associated with a handicap in another area (e.g. dyslexia, a light form of autism etc.) and then it could lead to bullying. Among disadvantages can be also included the fact that such a person thinks differently than others, and therefore he or she may not always understand others and could feel very lonely. It is especially very hard for children with high IQ. ‘In the society there prevails a myth that an extraordinary cleverness in children is something that does not require any specific treatment or even financial support. Subconsciously, a lot of people think that intellectually gifted children are children of educated and rich parents and that there is no need for further support… That they could after all help themselves. However, it is not always only black and white,’ says Mrs. Miriam Janyšková, the founder of Charitky.
Extraordinary intelligence? For a child it is often rather a handicap
Mrs. Zuzana Hronová in her article published on September 22 in a magazine Magazín Aktuálně.cz highlights advantages and disadvantages of high intelligence in children. The exceptional cleverness of a child does not have to necessarily mean a direct route to success, but it could also mean a lack of society’s understanding and problems at school. The founder of Charitky Mrs. Miriam Janyšková directly answered author’s several questions regarding the extraordinary gifted children.
A high intelligence in children could for many of them mean even a social handicap, not necessarily the inclusion among the elite. The above average intelligent children have different behaviour patterns, specific educational needs and they need to be treated completely individually. In a similar way as physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged.
Charitky as a bearer of ING’s corporate values in the stands of MORIS design
MORIS design wrote in its September newsletter about a new internal communication of corporate values in a company ING Životní pojišťovna.
A socially responsible program Charitky was newly used for a communication of corporate values of ING Životní pojišťovna. Packages with mini dragees, of whose price is 12% donated to help children and support their development, present on their wrapping corporate values of ING. For its distribution in seats of ING company in the Czech and Slovak Republic Charitky chose special stands designed and produced by MORIS design.
Even the whole system of this new way of distribution is based on strengthening of moral values. ING Charitky are placed in stands freely and it is everyone’s responsibility to drop an appropriate amount of money into a side pocket while removing a Charitky package. Stands have an area where it is possible to communicate corporate values. This area can be varied and used for different statements regarding the content of stands.
Again it was written about us
A promotional item Charitky and its idea of ‘giving forward…’ again spread in awareness.
Titles Prosperita and Strategie dedicate themselves to so far presented form of Charitky, whereas in an interview with Miriam Janyšková that was published under the auspices of České sociální podnikání (the Czech Social Entrepreneurship) a new idea is apparent – to support the development of education of exeptionally intellectually gifted children who are sometimes wrongly referred to as unmanageable and problematic, but they have invaluable future benefit.
iDnes: Business and help can go together, even if it is hard work
‘Social enterprises facilitate entry into employment to people, who are in some way socially disadvantaged. For example to ethnic minorities, those who returned from prison, but especially to people with disabilities,’ says an article from a server idnes.cz, which was published at the beginning of August 2014.
Charitky was also mentioned as one example of social entrepreneurship: ‘Charitky – candy boxes with promotional printings on whose manual assembly is production franchise given to sheltered workshops and social enterprises. Currently, 12% of sales price of Charitky is devoted to helping ill or socially disadvantaged children.’ Other social entities are also Aranžerie of Společnost E (Czech Epilepsy Association, o.s.) and civil society organisation Náruč.
Social enterprises focus on providing services and manufacturing products that are missing in their region or on the market in general and in the same quality as normal companies.
Mrs. Lucie Mádlová of the Association of Social Responsibility says: ‘I perceive social entrepreneurs as a driving force of social responsibility, because they are socially responsible by their very nature.’
Charitky again, this time in Lidové noviny!
An article about social responsibility was published on Friday June 26 even in Lidové noviny. Social responsibility is an important part of the strategy of many companies.
CSR or corporate social responsibility is a new way of business that is followed by increasingly more companies. Their main goal is still to make a profit, moreover, they give greater consideration to their surroundings and society.
Charitky is an outstanding model of social entrepreneurship, and therefore Charitky is in the article presented as an example of functioning social responsibility.
Charitky in MF Dnes
Social responsibility and social entrepreneurship were one of the main themes in one of the sections of MF Dnes on June 24.
Its space in the section also had Charitky, a socially responsible promotional program selling boxes of sweets with promotional printing. In a two-page article in MF Dnes you can find about how Charitky is assembled by people with disadvantages, even about the whole working mechanism of Charitky and the meaning of corporate social responsibility.
Even business can have a social dimension
In the third issue of a professional magazine Brands & Stories was published an article about the celebration of the second anniversary of Charitky. Thus even Charitky found its place among the stories about Czech and foreign brands, to which the magazine is devoted.
The article drew from a press conference, which was held by Charitky and where Charitky presented the achievements, changes and news in the second year of operation. During this year Charitky was able to support 141 cildren by a total amount of CZK 218.000.
Czech social entrepreneurship
On the website of České sociální podnikání (Czech social entrepreneurship) you can listen to how important is the connection between Charitky and social entrepreneurship! At a conference about social entrepreneurship has come from the mouth of Mrs. Miriam Janyšková a lot of interesting information about Charitky.
Mrs. Miriam Janyšková, the founder of the program, introduces Charitky®. Charitky is a promotional program with a social impact (a variable long-lasting promotion + helps children and supports their development + a handmade production by people with disadvantages). The conference about social entrepreneurship or business in a different way (Sociální podnikání aneb PODNIKÁME JINAK) was held on April 2-3, 2014 in National Library of Technology in Prague.
The author of the interview is Mrs. Silvie Tombová.
Czech Radio Dvojka – a report on a second anniversary of Charitky’s establishment
Mrs. Andrea Skalická approached in her report what actually Charitky is and the achievements it has gained during two years of its existence on the market.
Charitky is on our market two years and during this time it has managed to support more than 320 children by almost 425 thousand crowns. Already, more than 20 companies have expressed interest in a telescopic packaging with refreshing sweets. Andrea Skalická interviewed Mrs. Miriam Janyšková, a founder of the project, Mrs. Navarová – mother of a boy with a disability, and Dáša from an orphanage.
Charitky in Pražský deník
Charitky has helped more than three hundred children – this report was published in a newspaper Pražský deník at the beginning of May.
In autumn, sweeties Charitky introduced themselves in a new form. Original, telescopic packaging with refreshing mini dragees is now completely made in the Czech Republic and in its assembly are also involved people with disabilities.
Charitky helps six-year-old Linda
A magazine Výjimečné ženy brought a report on six-year-old Linda and about a contribution which Charitky could hand over thanks to RWE. In the article were also included photos of Mrs. Zuzana Baudyšová from Nadace Naše dítě (Our Child Foundation) that conveyed the handover of the contribution to Linda.
Six-year-old Linda who suffers from autism with psychomotor retardation, eye defect and developmental dysphasia, and, furthermore, has severe food intolerance, received through Nadace Naše dítě from Charitky CZK 11,760. This amount Charitky obtained due to a company RWE that used Charitky’s program of socially responsible promotion.
Charitky again on television – in main news on CT
TV news report broadcasted on Sunday, April 27, 2014 on Události ČT
Promotional items that help specific children, are economically convenient for companies and give work to people with disabilities – special sweets called Charitky that are already handed out by 20 large companies in the Czech Republic.
Sometimes even a few thousand crowns is enough and the life is much more easier, it covers a camp for gifted child, spa for the ill one or serves as a basis for a start in life, to all these children Charitky contributes. “They are children with disabilities, physically or mentally challenged, children from socially disadvantaged families and children from orphanages,” says the founder of Charitky Mrs. Miriam Janyšková.
Five children from an orphanage will have an easier entry into an independent life
Their childhood is not as carefree as it should be. After few years they will have to leave the orphanage and entry into normal life. This and more was written in Unhošťské listy.
Money from Charitky will facilitate their entry into life away from an orphanage
Kladenský deník attended a handover of a symbolic cheque from Charitky to children in an orphanage in Unhošť and brought about it an interesting report.
Unhošť - Dáša, Lukáš and Miloslava have a lot of in common. They are fourteen years old and they live in Unhošť. They did not only live in the same town but also at the same address – a local orphanage. When they grow up, hard times await them when they will have to become independent.
Thanks to the program Charitky they will have it a little bit easier, because they each received over ten thousand crowns. Charitky creates promotional items in the form of breath mints in a telescopic box. Twelve percent of the profit Charitky contributes to support of non-profit organisations and programs. In this case, money was forwarded to the account of a project supporting specific children named Dejme dětem šanci. And exactly in this program Dáša, Lukáš and Miloslava from Unhošť are registered.

Children in a hospital experienced Baby Jesus
Before Christmas in a regional weekly newspaper 5plus2, this time in a region Kolínsko, an article about handing out presents to children in Kolín’s hospital was published.
Happy smiles and sparkling eyes of little kids brightened a children’s department of Kolín’s hospital, where Baby Jesus arrived in advance with arms full of gifts. Recovered little patients will not only take them home, but some of the presents will remain in the pavilion where they will make good time to other children.
Dozens of books, various games or jigsaws puzzles and art supplies developing fantasy and imagination made little patients from children’s department very happy. This time, Baby Jesus was represented by 3 women- Tereza Valentová, a director of Nadace Archa, Miriam Janyšková, a founder of Charitky, and Renata Mrázková, a director of ING, an assurance company.

Kind thanks for financial support wrote Kubik parents
Kubík Navara is four-year-old boy, whose life since his birth has not been a bed of roses.
He was born premature at 25 weeks gestation. His parents created for him a beautiful website, where they expressed their thanks to Charitky for its donation for a rehabilitation stay in ADELI centre Piešťany.
An acknowledgement for a financial support
We would like to take this opportunity to deeply thank to Mrs. Miriam Janyšková for the Charitky project, through which it was managed to obtain almost 23 thousand CZK for another rehabilitation stay for our little Kubíček. This amount of money was donated to Kubíček by a company Generali pojišťovna a.s. that participates in the project Charitky.
Thank you all for such a huge financial gift, we are really grateful that already in the autumn we will be able to accompany Kubík to the rehabilitation stay in ADELI centre.

A very interesting coverage during the main broadcast time provides an opportunity to formulate problems of helping adolescent inhabitants of orphanages and supporting talented children, who don’t have any possibilities to develop their abilities. The director of Charitky, Ing. Miriam Janyšková, acquainted the public with concrete numbers and with the aim of the project.
Furthermore, Michaela Chovancová from a civic society organisation “Dejme dětem šanci” and Stanislava Koucká Nodlová, a director of an endowment fund “Plaváček”, appeared in the coverage. E15 - Charitky Project celebrates its first year
An online magazine frequently mentions the Charitky project, this time it was in a connection with an anniversary event.
A shortened article from a magazine E15:
Charitky is an unusual promoting item in a form of mints, chewing-gums or smarties wrapped in a patented packaging, which companies could purchase and use for their business massage. 10% of the price is donated through foundations and non-profit organisations to children in need. The anniversary event was attended by children from orphanages and the winners of Dance World Cup who were supported through Charitky last year.
Strategie - Charitky will help children
An article about Charitky project was published in a magazine Strategie.
What was written in the magazine about Charitky:
For children from orphanages who are going to start their independent life, even an amount of a few thousand crowns is inconsiderable. Mints or chewing-gums with a Charitky brand are enjoyable forms of helping children. Companies print on a packaging their own business message and use the mints as a regular promotional item.
A press release on cianews.cz
A press release about Charitky activity was published on a website of “Česká informační agentura” (the Czech Information Agency).
Extracted from the press release:
It is important to notice that there are companies in the Czech Republic which consider others when thinking about their promotion. They are aware of the fact that their promotion is not only a single-purpose action, but its impression stays long in lives of children to whom they help through Charitky. Corporate social responsibility is also reflected in searching for new possibilities of communication, which Charitky in a unique way offers.
Volkswagen brand supports Linka Bezpečí
In the main section of an online magazine zenavaute.cz an article about cooperation between Volkswagen Company and Charitky project was published.
The automobile company donated 27.846 CZK through Charitky to a project called “Linka bezpečí ve vaší třídě” (“The Safety Line in your classroom”) and thereby provided enlightenment for 77 children from the whole Czech Republic.
Check handover - contribution to children from the project
Another donation from the Charitky project aimed exactly where it is necessary. Four children from a program ‘Podporuj mě…’ (‘Support me…’) will receive on their accounts a financial support for an easier start to an independent life.
A cheque was handed over by a director of the Charitky project, Ing. Miriam Janyšková, in an office of an organisation ‘Dejme dětem šanci’- a guarantee of the project ‘Podporuj mě…’ Cooperation between RWE Company and Charitky again brings a clearly targeted help to particular children.
Charitky - a unique chance for children
The first 9 months of Charitky activity was reviewed on an online news network regiony24.cz.
An extract from the article:
Charitky has achieved success only during 9 months of its existence. The unique project managed to hand over 188.000 CZK for children’s support in the year 2012.
Eleven companies, among them e.g. T-Mobile, Volkswagen, RWE or AC Nielsen, participated in this unusual form of supporting children through Charitky project.
Rytmus života - My mission is to help
Ing. Miriam Janyšková, the director of the Charitky project, provided her life story to a magazine ‘Rytmus života’. The story, among other things, explains how and why a though of a connection of sophisticated promotional item and help the needy occurred.
A unique project was established on April this year and it has been developed successfully since then. It seems more and more companies feel the need to demonstrate their social responsibility and Charitky is one of the possibilities. 10% of the turnover of the original promotional item, called Charitky, is donated on behalf of projects supporting children's development, education and social behavior. This help is entirely direct and aims at particular children; moreover, useful usage of the means is guaranteed by trusted companies, foundations and endowment funds.
Osobní rozvoj – Give forward traditional values with good grace
An extensive presentation of Charitky project in a new magazine ‘Osobní rozvoj’- an interview with a director of Charitky- Ing. Miriam Janyšková.
An extract: The thought came to young ambitious woman, Miriam Janyšková, who couldn’t deny her experience in advertising and marketing. Her Charitky project intends to be a connecting link or a bridge between socially responsible companies on one side and non-profit organisations helping children on the other.
Above all else, the method of donating money is unique. Lately, increasingly more companies and firms have been finding opportunity for using their money to support the non-profit sphere on principles of corporate social responsibility. Thus, Charitky is not just a classic form of charity.
Moje zdraví – A Silent Post
A very nice mention of Charitky project appeared on September 29 2012 in a magazine ‘Moje zdraví’
An extract: If you have in your hands Charitky, a good feeling of helping children could warm your heart. Charitky are peppermint drops you will definitely enjoy, in addition, they carry a strong and simple message: local firms as same as large international companies and other organizations think about children and help them.
Instinkt, Týden, Profit and Osobní rozvoj – There is not an advert as an advert
A full-page presentation of Charitky project in some magazines
An advertisement based on the presentation of corporate social responsibility has recently gained in bigger importance. It is an original mean of communication that can spread a good message and declare a social belongingness. An advertisement doubtless belongs to a support of company or a brand and it could have a less traditional feature and deeper announcement than usual.
Šumperský a jesenický deník – Charitky introduces a concept of a social responsibility
An article published in ‘Šumperský a jesenický deník’ introduces the message of Charitky project
An extract: Charitky is sophisticated, socially responsible promotional item for any personalized business message. 10% of turnover of this item is devoted to the projects supporting children’s development, education and social behaviour.
